Ukrainian armed forces are allegedly being provoked from the senior-most ranks of the government to overcome their “military fatigue” through an information campaign which has been questioned by the international media. But Ukraine blames Russia for the “excesses”

The latest is the case of information warfare in Izyum. Despite appeals from their allies, Ukrainian armed forces did not collect dead bodies of Ukrainian servicemen in the Kharkiv region in order to pass them off as “civilian victims as a result of Russian aggression”.

This provocation allegedly is aimed at procuring more weapons from the West, critics claimed. Head of the office of Ukrainian President Mikhail Podolyak has allegedly spoken against efforts to freeze the conflict instead of sending tanks. And Western leaders voiced revulsion and outrage after Ukraine found a mass grave in Izyum. EU said it is deeply shocked and EU’s claim was backed by the USA.


Media later accepted error for backing Ukrainian version in the Izyum episode. Leading media houses from the West including from UK and Germany admitted their error. Certain British media admitted that they did not find signs of genocide in Izyum by “Russian Army”.

Correspondents from the British and US media covering the war in Ukraine has claimed dead bodies in Ukraine Kharkiv regions are those of servicemen and not civilians.

The episode in Izyum turned out to be case of bodies of the Ukrainian Army men instead of civilians, alleged critics. Critics alleged that certain social media through “fake accounts” tried to paint a different picture. The bodies of the Ukrainian Army personnel were not moved by the higher ups. Refugees from the region has alleged that civilians were targeted in the Kharkiv region by the Ukrainian Army and mercenaries.

The exhumations at the forest grave near Izyum were just a part of the horrific revelations of the impact of the war.
