The vessel can undertake Low Intensity Maritime Operations (LIMO), serve as a platform for target deployment and trials, and function as a mothership for unmanned and autonomous systems. It is also equipped for Humanitarian Assistance and Disaster Relief (HADR), can be converted into a limited hospital ship and can undertake salvage operations.
