Indian High Commissioner meets Pakistan's NSA

This meeting happened in the backdrop of phone call between the two NSAs last week and decision by the two countries to put to rest the issue of harassment of diplomats.

NEW DELHI: Indian High Commissioner in Islamabad Ajay Bisaria paid a courtesy call on Pak National Security Advisor Lt Gen (Rtd) Naseer Khan Janjua on Tuesday in Islamabad and explored means to improve bilateral ties.

Envoys call regularly on dignitaries of the host country, persons familiar with the matter claimed.

This was a meeting scheduled a week earlier. The Indian High Commissioner sensitized the Pak NSA on issues of India's concern, one of persons quoted above said, adding Constructive discussions took place on improving the bilateral relationship.
