Indian defence delegation visits China

BEIJING: An Indian defence delegation is on a week-long visit to China during which it will meet with Chinese Foreign ministry officials and pay visits to various defence sites, an embassy statement said here today.

The delegation from the National Defence College of India is led by Major General Anil P Dere and will visit capital Beijing, besides Nanjing and Shanghai.

During the course of their visit, the delegation will have a meeting at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and an interaction at the National Defence University, said an Indian embassy statement.

The delegation will also visit defence sites and interact with scholars, it said.
