Indian Army busts hideout in J&K's Kishtwar district
According to the Indian Army, the cache had potential to be utilised in abetting terrorist activity in the region especially during Ramzan & the forthcoming Machel Yatra.

"The deliberate search of the area of 48 hours led to the recovery of one AK-56 Rifle with three magazines, two Pistols with two magazines, one under Barrel Grenade launcher, 423 rounds of AK-47 ammunition, 20 rounds of Pistol ammunition, nine Under Barrel Grenade launcher Grenades, 13 Hand Grenades and two Kenwood Radio Sets," the Army said.
"The recovered arms and ammunition was a result of information provided by a local source of the area, which was acted upon by a joint team of troops of Delta Force located at Jangalwar alongwith Kishtwar Police," the army statement said.
Major General AS Rawat, General Officer Commanding, Delta Force said, "This recovery is indeed a major blow to the inimical elements and those harboring terrorist activities in the district which reinforces Security Force's positive control in the hinterland of Kishtwar".
