Defence Secretary Rajesh Kumar Singh, who is visiting Armenia, called on the country's defence minister, Suren Papikyan, in Yerevan on Monday.
"The two sides explored new avenues to further strengthen bilateral defence cooperation, reaffirming their shared commitment to deepening and elevating the India-Armenia defence partnership," the Indian defence ministry said in a post on X.
It also shared some photos of the meeting in the Armenian capital.
Defence Secretary Singh reached Yerevan on August 16 for a two-day visit. On arrival, he was received by India's ambassador to Armenia and senior representatives of the Armenian defence ministry.
"During the visit, he (Singh) will engage with the Armenian leadership to chart the course of future India-Armenia defence and strategic cooperation," the defence ministry had said in a post on X on Sunday.
