IdeaForge, First Breach form JV 'First Forge' to manufacture & supply drones in US

ideaForge Technology Limited has formed a joint-venture with US-based First Breach to supply its Unmanned-Aerial-Vehicles (UAVs) in the United States.

The joint venture 'First Forge Technology Inc' will undertake the business of licensing, sourcing, designing, engineering, manufacture and distribution of specific UAVs in the USA, the company said in a regulatory filing on Wednesday.

The JV is formed under ideaForge Technology Inc, a wholly owned subsidiary of ideaForge Technology to manufacture, develop, and distribute drones, which is subject to, satisfactory completion of due diligence of the relevant matters and obtaining necessary permissions, clearances and approvals, required from the statutory/regulatory authorities.


By leveraging ideaForge’s tech and First Breach’s infrastructure and market access, the company aims to leverage the drones market in the USA.

Shares of ideaForge were trading at Rs 536.85 after a 0.71% intraday rise as on 13:07 on Wednesday.

ideaForge is one of the market leaders in the Indian unmanned aircraft systems market, with the largest operational deployment of indigenous UAVs across India.
