IAF mesmerizes many at 1965 War event
This infused confidence in the people that the IAF, Jamnagar, was fully prepared to meet any threat in defending India's international border.

At the static display of machines and aircraft on Friday at the Air Force Station Jamnagar to commemorate 50 years of 1965 Indo-Pak War, MiG-29 and Jaguar aircraft instilled awe and fear at the same time in those who saw them at the runway.

The air veterans, who had taken part in the 1965 IndoPak War, had been invited to the event. They later shared their experiences with the Indian Air Force station officials.
The IAF personnel had been awarded five Mahavir Chakras and 43 Vir Chakras for their role in the war, which remains a corner stone in the annals of Indian military history.
The IAF officials said homage will be paid to the martyrs of the 1965 War at a ceremony to be held on Tuesday.
