An Indian Air Force (IAF) fighter jet accidentally released an air store due to a technical malfunction near the Pokhran firing range on Wednesday.

The IAF also confirmed that there have been no reports of damage to life or property as a result of the incident.

The IAF has, meanwhile, ordered an inquiry to investigate the cause of the malfunction to determine the circumstances leading to the unintentional release.
