Gujarat ATS nabs two suspected Pakistan spies in Kutch
GANDHINAGAR: In a significant development, Gujarat Anti-Terror Squad (ATS) has arrested two operatives of Pakistan’s Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI) from Khavda in Kutch on late Wednesday night.

The duo identified as Mohammad Alana and Safur Sumra were learnt to have been passing on information regarding army movement in the area to Pakistan via telephone.

Sources indicated that the duo had come under ATS scannerfor a while and was arrested following a 24 hour operation. More than one Pakistani passport was recovered from the homes of the duo and ATS maintains that while Alana had made several trips to Pakistan, Sumra too is being suspected to have visited the neighbouring country.

The ATS is also learnt to have recovered several incriminating documents from their houses and the duo is now being interrogated by the intelligence agencies.
ATS sources maintained that they could have passed on some sensitive information on military movement in that area.
