Hassan Nasrallah's death: Everything you need to know about the Hezbollah chief
The body of Hezbollah leader Hassan Nasrallah, who was killed in an Israeli airstrike in southern Beirut was recovered on Saturday. As per AFP source, Nasrallah's body was found on Saturday and was washed and placed in a shroud by Sunday. However, arrangements for his funeral and burial have not yet been made.

In a separate report by Reuters, U.S. Senator Mark Kelly revealed during an NBC interview that Israel used an American-made guided weapon in the strike that killed Nasrallah. He confirmed that a 2,000-pound (900-kg) Mark 84 series bomb was deployed in the attack, marking the first U.S. acknowledgment of the specific weapon used. Kelly mentioned that the U.S. continues to provide such guided munitions, known as Joint Direct Attack Munitions (JDAMs), which convert standard unguided bombs into precision-guided weapons.

Before his death in the airstrike on Friday, Nasrallah was regarded as the most powerful figure in Lebanon, having led the Iran-backed movement for over three decades as Israel's sworn enemy. The attack also resulted in the death of Ali Karake, Hezbollah's top commander in southern Lebanon, along with more than 20 Hezbollah members killed, according to the Israeli military.

Israel also carried out airstrikes on Houthi targets in Yemen on Sunday, following missile attacks by Houthi militants on Israel over the past two days.

The Israeli military announced that a large number of aircraft, including fighter jets, targeted power plants and a seaport at the Ras Issa and Hodeidah ports.

Israeli intelligence reportedly carried out a covert mission that involved embedding explosives into these ordinary communication devices, leading to significant casualties among the group.
