Focus of commanders' meet: Reform, transform

Prime Minister Narendra Modi, following his visit to Manipur, Mizoram, and Assam, is set to inaugurate the 16th Combined Commanders Conference (CCC) in Kolkata on Monday.

Kolkata: After his two-day visit to the northeastern states of Manipur, Mizoram and Assam, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will inaugurate the three-day 16th Combined Commanders Conference (CCC) in Kolkata at the Eastern Command headquarters on Monday morning.

The theme for this year's conference is 'Year of Reforms - Transforming for the Future'. The high-level conference will be attended by defence minister Rajnath Singh, national security advisor Ajit Doval, chief of defence staff General Anil Chauhan and defence secretary Rajesh Kumar Singh, chief of three forces - Army, Navy and Air Force -among others.
