ET Defence Bulletin: Eight people killed in Kulgam encounter

NEW DELHI: A major story of today is an encounter between terrorists and security forces in Kulgam, Kashmir. Eight people, including four terrorists, two army jawans and two civilians, were killed. Meanwhile, India successfully test fired an interceptor missile to destroy another missile in the sky, taking a big step towards a two-tier ballistic missile defence.

North Korea has test fired a ballistic missile, the first such test since US President Donald Trump took office. A new aircraft is being inducted in the IAF at Aero India this month.
