Kolkata: Eastern Command, Indian Army has conducted the Shaurya Conclave: 'Strategic Communication and the Evolution of the Cognitive Domain', bringing together senior military leaders, eminent scholars, experienced journalists and strategic communication practitioners in a candid and forward-looking dialogue on the information environment shaping contemporary security.

The eminent speakers enlightened the audience and the speakers offered depth, diversity and realism drawn from operational experience, academic rigour and media practice, people in the know said.

"The Indian army reiterates its commitment to transparent, timely and credible engagement with the media, recognising its pivotal role as the bridge between the soldier and the citizen. Platforms such as the Shaurya Conclave reflect the Army's resolve to nurture informed discourses, strengthen strategic communication, and safeguard the cognitive domain for national security," MoD said in a statement.
