‘Dolphin hunter’ INS Anjadip commissioned to boost Indian Navy’s anti-submarine power

The Indian Navy on Feb 27 commissioned INS Anjadip at Chennai, marking the fourth induction under the Anti-Submarine Warfare Shallow Water Craft project. Built by Garden Reach Shipbuilders & Engineers with Larsen & Toubro, the vessel carries over 80% indigenous content. Designed for shallow waters, it enhances coastal surveillance, submarine detection and maritime trade security.
