The second mock drill was carried out late in the night at the posh Hauz Khas market which is popular for its restaurants and its location being as it is in the heart of south Delhi.

News of this arrived on Twitter via a tweet from the Delhi Police stating, "We are conducting another anti-terror mock drill with NSG at HauzKhas Village just now. Regret inconvenience being caused."

Earlier, a similar mock drill had been carried out at DLF Promenade on December 29, 2015, and the police had discovered several loopholes in their reaction time as well as the response to the mock drill.
