Defence ministry of Nagorno-Karabakh region says its military death toll rises to 1,068

The military death toll has reached to 1,068 since fighting with Azeri forces erupted on September 27. Fighting has surged to its worst level since the 1990s, when about 30,000 people were killed.

YEREVAN: The defence ministry of the Nagorno-Karabakh region said on Wednesday it had recorded another 59 casualties among its military, pushing its military death toll to 1,068 since fighting with Azeri forces erupted on September 27.

Fighting has surged to its worst level since the 1990s, when about 30,000 people were killed.
