'Command tech… command conflict’: Army Chief on how prosperity is impossible without security

Speaking in Delhi, Army Chief General Upendra Dwivedi described Operation Sindoor as an example of India’s “smart power,” combining military precision, diplomatic signalling, information control, and economic resolve. The Army Chief also warned of growing global instability, stressed that security is now the foundation of prosperity, and called for rapid indigenous advancements in AI, cyber, quantum technologies, autonomous systems, and defence manufacturing to prepare for future conflicts.
