Beijing's foreign ministry offered "sincere sympathies" to India on Wednesday following an attack on tourists in J&K. "We mourn the victims and extend our sincere sympathies to the families of the victims and the injured," foreign ministry spokesman Guo Jiakun said, adding that China "strongly condemns this attack".
"We resolutely oppose all forms of terrorism, extend our condolences to the victims, and express sincere sympathy to the bereaved families and the injured," he further said.
"Shocked by the attack... Deep condolences for the victims and sincere sympathies to the injured and the bereaved families. Oppose terrorism of all forms," Chinese ambassador Xu Feihong posted on X.
Meanwhile, Pakistan army chief Gen Asim Munir is visiting Kazakhstan with an eye on "ramping up" Pakistan's narrative against India but has not received any support from Astana on the same.
