A Border Security Force (BSF) jawan has been reported missing from his battalion headquarters in Srinagar, according to a Times of India (TOI) report on Friday.

"There is no subversive angle. Jawan belonging to 60th Battalion may have fled to his home because of some personal reasons," police sources told the Times of India (TOI).

The missing personnel has been identified as Ct (GD) Sugam Choudhary of F Company.

BSF officials, as cited by TOI, said that Choudhary was last seen at the battalion premises but could not be located despite extensive searches in the surrounding areas.
