BSF South Bengal Frontier has nabbed seven Bangladeshis and three Indian agents along the India-Bangladesh border in Nadia and Murshidabad districts of West Bengal.

Troops of BSF's 146th Battalion nabbed them and recovered around 16 mobile phones, a motorcycle, cash in Indian rupees and Bangladeshi Taka and Kenyan and Indonesian currencies, the force said.

BSF South Bengal Frontier DIG NK Pandey said, "This successful operation has given a significant blow to the network of infiltrators and brokers and will surely help in checking infiltration and exfiltration attempts."

On Thursday morning, BSF's 146th Battalion patrolling party spotted about seven infiltrators trying to cross into Bangladesh from the India side, sources said. BSF troops managed to apprehend two infiltrators, while others, taking advantage of the darkness and fog, fled.
