Army foils infiltration bid in Poonch district of Jammu and Kashmir

JAMMU: Army today foiled an infiltration bid along the LoC in Poonch district of Jammu and Kashmir.

A group of militants tried to enter the Indian side along the Line of Control (LoC) in forward belt of Poonch district early this morning, a defence spokesperson said.

Army troops guarding the borderline fired upon the militants and foiled the infiltration bid, he added.
