Arms, ammunition recovered in Kashmir's Kupwara

SRINAGAR: Security forces today recovered a cache of arms and ammunition from north Kashmir's Kupwara district during a search operation, police said.

During the search operation by the Army at Freshitring Nard in Keran area of the district, two AK rifles, two UBGLs, two pistols, twenty pistol magazines, 20 AK magazines, 600 AK rounds, 27 pistol rounds, one tracer, one knife, wire and a binocular have been recovered, a police official said.

A case has been registered in this regard, he added.
