Amit Shah defends permitting Pakistani probe team in India
Defending the NDA government over a Pakistani investigation team’s visit to Pathankot, Amit Shah has said that this was the first time that Pakistan had done such a thing.

“Special team of Pakistani investigators has landed here, but the area of operation for them is limited. They will not go to the airbase. This is the first time, a team of investigators from Pakistan has come here for investigation. Let them investigate. As far as the result is concerned, we will see later,” Shah said while addressing journalists in Kolkata on Tuesday.
Intensifying the attack on chief minister Mamata Banerjee and her Trinamool Congress, Shah said that Banerjee’s government was responsible for ‘security threat’ posed by the ‘Bangladeshi infiltrators.’ “We hoped that Mamata Banerjee government will control infiltration and ensure national security. But she made infiltrators her vote bank. The infiltrators are not only a threat to Bengal, but a threat to the country. For the Mamata Banerjee government, the whole country is reeling under security threat,” Shah alleged.
