Amir Hamja, leader of Campus Front of India, arrested from Bengaluru

Hamza was absconding after PFI Ban and was hiding in Bengaluru with some families of Tripura. Assam police traced and nabbed him with the help of Bengaluru police.

Amir Hamja leader of Campus Front of India (CFI), student wing of recently banned Popular Front of India (PFI) was arrested from Bengaluru by a team of Assam police.

Assam police stated,"Absconding CFI (Student wing of PFI) Amir Hamja (Age-27), S/O Ayjuddin Ali R/O DTBM Nabajagaran High School, Bhakuamari, Ananda Bazar, PS-Salbari, Baksa-781318 was apprehended last night by a team of Assam Police led by DSP at Bellundur, Bangalore in SOU PS Case No.02/2022 under 120B/124A/153A/353 IPC r/w Sec 18 of UA(P) Act, 1967."

He has been given three days transit remand by the Additional Chief Metropolitan Magistrate Bengaluru. He will be produced before CJM court Guwahati on Monday.
