Airport and seaport in Jordan evacuated due to 'credible threat', US embassy says

The international airport and ‌seaport ⁠in Aqaba in ⁠southern ​Jordan were evacuated because of ​a "specific and credible threat", the ​U.S. ⁠embassy said ‌on ​X ​on ⁠Sunday.

"We strongly advise all Americans ​to refrain (from) travelling to ​either the airport or seaport. Continue ‌to follow all Jordanian authorities' ​security ​directives," ⁠the embassy said, without providing further details.
