Air India CVO Sundari Subramaniam Pujari goes back to Defence Ministry
National carrier Air India's Chief Vigilance Officer (CVO) Sundari Subramaniam Pujari was sent back to her parent cadre - Defence Ministry.

The competent authority has approved the premature repatriation of Pujari, a 1980 batch Indian Defence Estate Services officer, Chief Vigilance Officer (CVO), Air India, Delhi, to her parent cadre on the grounds of availing of promotion in the cadre, an order issued by Department of Personnel and Training said.
The Defence Ministry is cadre controlling authority of the service.
She was on January 20 appointed as Air India's CVO, who act as distant arm of Central Vigilance Commission. On her appointment as CVO, Air India, Pujari was entitled for tenure upto May 31, 2016 i.e. the date of her superannuation, according to an earlier order.
It is pertinent to mention that there has been a leadership change in Air India. Indian Railway service officer Ashwani Lohani has been recently appointed as Chairman and Managing Director (CMD) of the airline.
