NASHIK: Thirty two Army officers earned the 'Army aviation wings' in a passing out parade ceremony held today at the Combat Army Aviation Training School (CATS) Gandhinagar Airfield here.

The 'wings' were presented to the officers this morning at the hands of Lt Gen K H Singh, who was chief guest of 24th passing out parade, an official press release stated.

The prestigious 'Silver Cheetah' Trophy was presented to Capt Vikas Bhammu, who was adjudged as overall 'Best Cadet' of this batch.

Later, thrilling demonstrations by Army aviators were presented before gathering by Cheetah, Chetak and Dhruv helicopters like picking up jawan, dropping it from height, para-dropping and others.

CATS located near nashik is engaged in providing helicopter training to army officers.
