The armed forces on Wednesday foiled an infiltration attempt in Poonch district of Jammu and Kashmir during which two suspected Lashkar-e-Toiba terrorists were killed.

Jammu-based White Knight Corps of the Indian Army informed that they launched a coordinated counter insurgency operation 'Operation Shiv Shakti' in the wee hours of Wednesday. The operation took place two days after three foreign infiltrators, connected with the Pahalgam attack, were killed in Kashmir Valley.
