15 RPF/RPSF personnel get police medal on Republic Day

NEW DELHI: Fifteen Railway Protection Force ( RPF)/ Railway Protection Special Force ( RPSF) personnel have been awarded with President's Police Medal and Police Medal for their meritorious services on Republic Day this year.

RPSF Inspector Abdul Nazar in 7th Battalion has been awarded Presidents Police Medal for distinguished service.

Divisional Security Commissioner Anil Ramchandra Bhalero in South-Western Railway, Assistant Security Commissioners Vishok Gupta in Railway Board and D Sarat Babu in North-Western Railway were among others who have been awarded Police Medal for meritorious Service, a release said.

RPF Inspectors Syed Mohd Ahmed in West-Central Railway and Rakesh Sharma in Northern Railway have been selected for the Police Medal for Meritorious Service.

Two RPSF Inspectors, Jaisa Ram Jat in 12th Battalion and Paras Nath Singh in 2nd Battalion have also been selected for Police Medal.

Other RPF personnel selected for the Police Medal are Sub-Inspector Anil Kumar in Northern Railway, ASI Umed Singh in North-Western Railway, ASI Jai Singh in North-Western Railway.

Head Constables C Krishna in South-Western Railway, S K Faruk A R Rahman in Eastern Railway, I H Handral in South- Western Railway, Rohtash Singh in Northern Railway have been awarded Police Medal for meritorious service.
