13 more Border Security Force personnel test positive for Covid-19 in Tripura

GUWAHATI: Around 13 Border security Force (BSF) personnel were tested positive for COVID-19 on Tuesday in Tripura.

“13 persons from 138th-Bn #BSF Ambassa found #COVID19 POSITIVE today including 1 Mess worker. Total #COVID19 positive cases in Tripura stands at 42 (2 already discharged, so active cases: 40) There is no POSITIVE case among civilians. Don't Panic!,” Chief Minister Biplab Kumar Deb tweeted.

On Monday, 13 border security force personnel had tested positive for COVID 19. On Sunday 12 BSF personnel were tested positive for COVID-19.


On Saturday last two BSF personnel from Ambassa had tested positive.

Meanwhile, Assam also reported two positive cases of the Coronavirus.
