BENGALURU: Footprints Child Care, a child day care and preschool chain, has raised Rs 4.25 crore through deal making platform LetsVenture to expand operations within Delhi-NCR. Vinay Kumar Bansal, director of Step Ahead Ventures, led the angel round along with Kshitij Jain, founder of mobile enterprise application startup Mobolt.

“India has a rapidly growing emerging economy with a fast growing middle class population, which is willing to spend significantly on education and childcare for their young children,” said Raj Singhal, CEO, Footprints Child Care. Founded in 2013 by IIT and IIM alumni graduates Singhal, Purvesh Sharma and Ashish Aggarwal. the company has day care centers and preschools in Gurgaon, Noida, and Delhi-NCR .
