Zetwerk appoints former Royal Enfield CEO Vinod Kumar Dasari to its Board of Directors

Contract manufacturing marketplace Zetwerk has roped in Vinod Kumar Dasari, former chief executive of Royal Enfield, to its board of directors, the company said.

The appointment, made July 1, will see Dasari providing strategic insights to Zetwerk's leadership team as it expands into consumer electronics, aerospace, renewables, and industrials, Zetwerk said.

The Bengaluru-based firm partners with the world’s leading industrial and consumer enterprises to have their products manufactured via a global network of small manufacturers.


Dasari joins the board of Zetwerk which also includes industry veterans like Sanjiv Rangrass (Former Divisional CEO, ITC Agri Business), investors like Prayank Swaroop (Partner, Accel) and Shailesh Lakhani (Managing Director, Peak XV Partners), Vaibhav Agarwal (Lightspeed) and Zetwerk's co-founders Srinath Ramakkrushnan and Amrit Acharya.

Dasari also currently serves as an operating partner private equity firm Advent international. He was motorcycle maker Royal Enfield's chief executive officer from 2019 to 2021 where he spearheaded the brand's global expansion and product innovation.

Dasari comes with four decades of experience in leading and scaling manufacturing businesses across diverse sectors. He was also the chief executive and managing director of Ashok Leyland along with leadership roles Cummins India and The Timken Company.
