Zensar now eyes Germanic Europe

MUMBAI: RPG group’s IT arm Zensar Technologies, known for its appetite for acquisitions, is now on the prowl in Germanic Europe.

Till now, the company has acquired units mainly in English-speaking countries and this is for the first time that it is looking at non-English speaking Europe.

“We are contemplating an acquisition in Germanic Europe which will enable us to have a footprint in non-English speaking areas,” RPG Enterprises’ Chairman Harsh Goenka said.

He, however, did not specify a time-frame for sealing the deal. The acquisition will be funded entirely through internal accruals, Goenka said.

This means that Zensar could be looking at acquisitions not only in Germany but also Switzerland and Austria where German is widely spoken.
