Yatish Kumar appointed as Chairman, MD of Braithwaite

Yatish Kumar assumed the charge of Chairman & Managing Director of Braithwaite & Co. Limited.

A. 1996 batch Indian Railway Service of Mechanical Engineers (IRSME), he is a Chartered Engineer and a Fellow of Institute of Engineers (India) and Honorary Chairman of State Centre Institute of Engineers (Mechanical Branch).

Kumar, whose appointment took place with effect from May 28, 2018, has over two decades of experience of working with the Indian Railways in various capacities.


He was honoured with National Award in 2006 for outstanding contribution in Indian Railways and Five Zonal Railways Award for outstanding contribution in Eastern Railway and RDSO.

Kumar was previously holding the post of Director (I&L), RDSO, Kolkata.
