The lesson

The best advice from people who we think are doing great work is to keep working on your craft and work on your strengths. Don't start experimenting with other forms of craft just because the world is talking about it. I think Yash Raj Films (YRF) is whom we consider as our main competitors, because TVF happens to be a content company and not a comedy company. And, the way YRF makes its films, and has stuck to making series on weddings, and its storytelling impressed me. The other lesson we learnt was from the cult success of comedy group AIB. They were quick to make an impact in the market and quickly made the kind of content and series we could have at TVF.
