Specialist staffing company Xpheno has appointed Ramakrishna Bhagavan as Chief Financial Officer, the company said in a press release.

Bhagavan joined the leadership team at the Bengaluru-based staffing company with 25 years of domestic and global experience in the banking sector, the press statement said.

“With his extensive banking experiences across marquee brands, Bhagavan will bring the financial expertise critical to our operational excellence,” said Kamal Karanth, co-founder, Xpheno.

“His international exposure fits into our next wave of growth as we expand into Germany, UK and USA in the later this year. As we venture into new frontiers and partnerships for our non-linear growth, his proven experience in expansions and passion for customer success will give us scale and speed,” said Karanth.

In his previous leadership roles, Bhagavan has worked at HSBC, ABN Amro, Kotak Mahindra, IDFC Bank & Mauritius bank. Prior to joining Xpheno, he was engaged in advisory roles with fintech startups.

“Staffing is a new industry to me. However, I believe it’s also an advantage to bring an outsider's perspective on the growth curve that Xpheno is on,” said Bhagavan. “I’m looking forward to this journey with Xpheno to enable the international expansion and an eventual IPO.”
