The Tata Group employees came together through the year to deliver meals to migrants and health-workers, build hospitals and collec public health data, and develop a CRISPR test for Covid-19, he said.
Not just individuals, but companies, citizens and governments too came together in ways that wasn't imaginable until recently, according to the Tata Group chairman.
"Though this year has been hard, we end it with a renewed sense of possibility. Buried in the stress and trauma of Covid-19 are opportunities for renewal," he said. In the past, pandemics sped up progress in medicine, urban planning, architecture and countless other fields and this one will be the same, Chandrasekaran said.
Quoting football coach Paul ‘Bear’ Bryant he said, "It’s not the will to win that matters - everyone has that. It’s the will to prepare to win that matters."
