Wipro promotes digital business head Rajan Kohli as president

Kohli, who has spearheaded the digital tech services segment to a $2 billion business, has joined seven other presidents of the company and would report to chief executive Abidali Neemuchwala.

BENGALURU: Wipro, India’s third largest software services exporter, has promoted its head of digital business Rajan Kohli as a president.

Kohli, who has spearheaded the digital tech services segment to a $2 billion business, has joined seven other presidents of the company and would report to chief executive Abidali Neemuchwala.

Kohli would continue be the global head of Wipro Digital.


Mint first reported this development. The Mint story has also reported that the company promoted four other executives as senior vice presidents.

The $8.06 billion tech services company has been aggressive in driving growth of digital services, which garners nearly 27% revenue.

Other presidents at Wipro include Bhanumurthy B M, chief operating officer; Saurabh Govil, chief human resources officer, Anand Padmanabhan, head of strategic sales.

“Wipro Limited can confirm that Rajan Kohli has been promoted as President – Digital with immediate effect. He will continue to be the Global Head of Wipro Digital and report to Abidali Neemuchwala,” said a Wipro spokesperson.
