Why India is not an exciting country for expats
India ranks among the 10 worst expat destinations worldwide, according to a survey undertaken by InterNations, the world's largest social network for expats. Expats working full time in India put in an average 46.5 hours per week, three hours more than average. Ultimately, these extra hours work against them in the rankings as India fares worst in the Work-Life Balance category.

Interestingly, expats in India are twice as likely as the global average to stay in their host country for less than one year. They are also more concerned than the global average about personal safety and crime, and rate India as the worst country for expat kids in terms of health and safety.
