Western Union appoints Sohini Rajola as new Vice-President for South Asia
Prior to Western Union, Rajola was the Senior Vice President and Head - Digital Banking, at Axis Bank where she was responsible for designing and leading the digital strategy of the bank.

With Rajola’s appointment as the business leader for India and South Asia, we will further strengthen Western Union’s multi-channel payment services offering, enabling greater consumer choice and wider financial inclusion,” said Jean Claude Farah, president, MEA, APAC, Eastern Europe & CIS, Western Union.
Prior to Western Union, Rajola was the Senior Vice President and Head - Digital Banking, at Axis Bank where she was responsible for designing and leading the digital strategy of the bank. Previously she was the bank’s Head of Cards and Merchant Acquiring where she managed several partnerships and was responsible for the launch of a wide portfolio of electronic card products.
