Vivek Wadhera joins Orix India as CEO & MD

Financial services company Orix India has appointed Vivek Wadhera its new managing director and chief executive with effect from April 2, the company said in a statement on Thursday.

With a career spanning more than 25 years in the financial sector, Wadhera comes with a wealth of experience from companies such as Citigroup, Barclays and, most recently. DMI Finance, where he served as group chief financial officer.

Having previously worked with Orix India for a decade, Wadhera returns to the company where he previously served as group chief financial officer. During his tenure, he played a pivotal role in driving the company’s growth trajectory and cementing its position as a leader in the financial services industry, said the statement.


Wadhera’s expertise encompasses financial management, money markets, portfolio transactions and strategic planning, which will help ORIX India continue its mission to expand its service offerings and elevate customer experiences.

Wadhera is a chartered accountant by profession and an alumnus of Sri Ram College of Commerce.
