NEW DELHI: V P Singh has taken over as new chairman of Central Board of Excise and Customs, replacing M Jayaraman who retired on May 31.
Singh, who was earlier member (excise) assumed office on Thursday as CBEC Chairman on Thursday, official source said on Friday.
