"He leads with heart and soul, and is someone I learn from daily. My trust in him as our CEO is bone deep," Dorsey said.
Tesla CEO Elon Musk on Monday praised Indian talent in America after Twitter CTO Parag Agrawal was appointed the new chief executive officer. The social media website's co-founder Jack Dorsey stepped down from his position, ending his nearly 16-year stint.

"USA benefits greatly from Indian talent!" Musk said in reply to a tweet pointing out that Google, Microsoft, Adobe, and IBM too have Indian-origin CEOs at the helm. Agrawal is joining the likes of Alphabet CEO Sundar Pichai and Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella.
Agrawal, who joined in 2011 and became CTO in 2017, takes over the reins of Twitter at a time when the company is looking to steer towards growth and away from 'free speech' battles.

In his message to the staff, Dorsey said that Agrawal has been behind every critical decision and has helped turn the company around. "He leads with heart and soul, and is someone I learn from daily. My trust in him as our CEO is bone deep," Dorsey said.
