A fitness routine built on joy and discipline
For Nita Ambani, fitness is a celebration of movement and strength. Having practised Bharatanatyam since age six, she attributes her strong foundation to the art form but has expanded her routine to include diverse activities.
Her weekly regimen combines leg day workouts, upper body strength training, core exercises, and yoga. She also incorporates swimming, aqua workouts, and dance sessions to keep her routine dynamic. She stays active while travelling by walking 5,000–7,000 steps daily.
This variety keeps her motivated and ensures her overall well-being, from balance and flexibility to metabolism and endurance.
The role of nutrition in her wellness journey
Nita Ambani firmly believes in the importance of mindful eating. She is a vegetarian by choice and focuses on organic and nature-based foods, steering clear of sugar and artificial substitutes. Protein forms a key part of her diet, ensuring her muscles stay strong and her energy levels remain high.
"It's not about the numbers or lifting weights," she explains. "It's about having the stamina to live life to the fullest—whether lifting my grandchildren or positively embracing each day."
