TVS Motor donates medicines worth Rs 1 crore for Jammu and Kashmir flood victims
TVS Motor has sent a team of 40 doctors and has already delivered 6.5 tonnes of medicines to the Military Hospital, Jammu and Kashmir

TVS Motor has sent a team of 40 doctors and has already delivered 6.5 tonnes of medicines (worth Rs 1 crore) to the Military Hospital, J&K, to provide medical aid to the thousands of people who are in dire need of antibiotics and general medicines in affected areas, the company said in a press release.
Some of these doctors, out of the team of 40, hail from Kashmir and thus are fully familiar with the language and topography, which will help in an effective and faster reach of medical attention to the effected people.
TVS Motor Company has tied up with Sri Ramachandra Medical College and Research Institute, who have seconded these doctors to this humanitarian medical relief initiative. SRMC & RI is also sending medicines worth Rs 30 lakh.

At this moment TVS Motor Company continues to stand by its commitment to social responsibilities and is providing medical assistance to the affected people of Jammu and Kasmir,” said Ashoke K Joshi, chairman, Srinivasan Services Trust, the CSR arm of TVS Motor Company
