Toyota Kirloskar Motor inducts two senior officials as board directors

The two elevations follow TKM last week elevating director Manasi Tata as vice chairperson. The post was earlier held by her father, Vikram Kirloskar, who passed away in November.

Toyota Kirloskar Motor (TKM) on Monday announced the elevation of its two senior officials, Tadashi Asazuma and Swapnesh R. Maru, as new directors on its board.

Asazuma, the Executive Vice President and heads Sales, Service & Used Car function, comes with rich global automobile industry experience of working for Toyota in Japan and regions like the Middle East, TKM said in a press release.

Maru, the Executive Vice President & chief compliance officer and oversees finance, HR & Administration, IT, legal and Corporate Planning, has had a stint at Toyota Daihatsu Engineering & Manufacturing Co., Thailand earlier.


The two elevations follow TKM last week elevating director Manasi Tata as vice chairperson. The post was earlier held by her father, Vikram Kirloskar, who passed away in November.

TKM is the Japanese car maker Toyota’s joint venture with the Kirloskar Group.
