Today's youth should live a simple life: Kishore Biyani
MUMBAI: Youth should live a simple life and have a holistic approach. This will make their life easy. They should utilise their minds to the fullest; and rather than thinking of just job and career, they should think of living a happy life. That's what Kishore Biyani, group CEO, Future Group, had to say at NBT Samvaad - a youth conclave organised by Mumbai's No 1 Hindi daily Navbharat Times.

"If they have simplicity, devotion and positivity then wealth, knowledge and power will take care of themselves on their own," Biyani said.

At the conclave, lyricist and ad man Prasoon Joshi, president, South Asia, McCann-Erickson, said that every youth should give his best to bring about change, otherwise he himself will be used and thrown aside.

"Youth has to be responsible. Though they do have innocence, but it is an informed innocence. The best thing about youth is that they are not afraid of taking risk and they have no limitations," he added.

Bollywood actress Sonam Kapoor stressed on using their hearts while taking decisions. "If you want to achieve something great in your life you should trust your heart blindly," she said.

The event was held on the occasion of International Youth Day in the convocation hall of Mumbai University.
