Times Group MD Vineet Jain honoured for innovative growth

GOA: Times Group’s managing director Vineet Jain was on Friday felicitated at Goafest 2016, for his significant contribution to the innovative growth of media, his support to the advertising industry, his unflinching belief in the importance of creative communication, and his ongoing efforts to use communication as a force for societal change.

Thanking the Advertising Club and the Advertising Agencies Association of India, Jain said that given the ever-changing media landscape and the disruptive influence of technology, shelf lives of “leadership in business excellence” were getting shorter. “Today’s excellence is tomorrow’s mediocrity,” he said. Being aware of this, he said, “We consider excellence to be a continuous process and reinvent ourselves to be ahead of the times.”
