Case Study

Aakash has made an error in a report that has been sent to some senior executives in his company. He realised the mistake after sending the report. He has not told anyone about the error. He wants to talk to his boss about this, but he is not sure how his boss would react because the senior management is likely to hold his boss accountable. What should he do?

1. Admit the mistake to his boss

2. Be quiet and hope nobody sees the error
